Schuyler Vaughn White is the pianist for Foxy Shazam, a band based out of Cincinnati, OH. White, known to friends as Sky, was born and raised in Cincinnati along with an older brother (Eli) and his two parents, all having extensive musical backgrounds [1] . For a period of time, White attended The University of Kentucky with a major in Physics. White knew of Eric Sean Nally and Loren Daniel Turner from local bands around town, and when looking for someone to play the piano for their new project, White was a lucky find with over 12 years of experience. [2] You can hear White playing on both Foxy Shazam albums (The Flamingo Trigger and Introducing (released by New Weatherman/Ferret Records). While on stage, White can often be found dancing on his piano, sitting on it, playing with his nose, or even a deer hoof. [3] White is infamous for his incredibly long chops, [4] numerous zany facial expressions, [5] and of course his talented piano playing. White enjoys TV shows such as Lost (TV Series), Dexter (TV Series) and Weeds (TV Series), eating Indian Food and Beef Jerky, and being known as on of the nicest guys around.
