Atlantic Studios Cooperative

The Atlantic Studios Cooperative in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, offers Atlantic Canada's largest film studio space [http://www.atlanticstudioscooperative.com] . It is located in the Annex at the Pepsi Centre, the sporting complex built to host the 1999 Canada Games (and thus also known as the Canada Games Centre) [http://www.gov.nf.ca/publicat/EcoDec98/tourism.htm] [http://www.cbc.ca/arts/story/2003/09/03/nfldfilm030903.html] . The ASC has access to the main studio, as well as dressing rooms, office space, kitchen and catering facilities, and sporting facilities [ http://www.atlanticstudioscooperative.com] .

Along with the studio, the ASC owns mobile equipment for filming on location across Newfoundland and Labrador. Together with the studio, this allows filming to be conducted independent of support from the mainland, the primary goal of the ASC's start-up funders [http://www.acoa.ca/e/media/press/press.shtml?2568] .
