Kelling Hall is situated in the civil parish of Kelling in the English county of Norfolk ["OS Explorer Map 24 - Norfolk Coast Central". ISBN 0 319 21726 4.] . The hall is 0.7 miles south of the coastal village of Kelling.

Design

The hall is Grade II listed and was built in 1913 for Sir Henry Deterding, who was the one of the founders of the Royal Dutch Petroleum Company. The architect was Sir Edward Maufe [Eastern Daily Press: Saturday 6th September, Page 8/9, Article: Why I am selling Kelling.] and it was designed in the Arts and Craft style. The hall is built on an elevated position overlooking the North Norfolk coastline at a height of 171 feet above sea level.
