nihongo|Guideline board|ガイドライン版|gaidorainban|also known as gline is an anonymous bulletin board on Japan's most popular bulletin board service, 2channel. The official name is "ガイドライン@2ちゃんねる掲示板" (gaidorain at 2channel bulletin board), or "ガ板" (gaban) for short. The board receives an average of around 3,530 comments per day [http://sabo2.kakiko.com/bbspost/sboard.cgi?bbs=gline] . It was established on March 6, 2001.

Summary

gline is a board originally set up with the goal of explaining in detail things such as the latest fads in 2channel and 2channel terminology. This however is just a definition, and at present the board is devoted more to the following two general types of threads.

; Copy-paste alteration: Comprise of roughly 80% of all gline threads. Popular words on 2channel are mixed with caricatures from manga, games, and video, and with other copy-paste works, and are continuously transformed as in the Chinese whispers game.; Collection of responses or threads: Contains things such as the days greatest responses, titles of the most interesting threads, etc.
