Prince Philip Drive

Prince Philip Drive, also known as "Prince Philip Parkway", "Columbus Drive" and "MacDonald Drive" is a major parkway in the city of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The western portion of the parkway is officially recognized by the city as Columbus Drive, and begins at the Waterford Bridge Road-Columbus Drive intersection in the west end of the city. East of the Confederation Building and Portugal Cove Road intersection, the parkway is known as MacDonald Drive.

Seven of ten of the most dangerous intersections in the city of St. John's are located on the parkway. In order of severity, these include Allandale Road at Prince Philip Drive (ranking 3), Columbus Drive at Old Pennywell Road (ranking 4), Columbus Drive-Prince Philip Drive at Thorburn Road (ranking 5), Columbus Drive at Topsail Road (ranking 6), Columbus Drive at Mundy Pond Road (ranking 7), Prince Philip Drive-MacDonald Drive at Portugal Cove Road (ranking 9) and Prince Philip Drive at Clinch-Westerland (ranking 10).
