5-a-side football at the 2008 Summer Paralympics -Tournament

The 5-a-side football tournament at the 2008 Summer Paralympics will take place in Beijing, China. It will start on Sunday the 7 September and end on the 17 September. Only a male event is contested. It will take place at the Olympic Green Hockey Field. All players are blindfolded and only the goalie may be be sighted. The ball makes a rattling sound when kicked and so therefore the fans must keep quit during play. The format is that 6 teams play each other once and the bottom 2 are in the 5th and 6th place playoff. 3rd and 4th place group finishers are in the bronze medal match and the top 2 are in the final.
