David Clarke (five-a-side footballer)

David Clarke (born November 9, 1970) is an English footballer, who is the "longest serving member of the England five-a-side football team", for blind football.[1]

Clarke has been described as England's greatest goalscorer. As of August 5, 2010, he had scored 106 goals for the England national five-a-side team, and had 109 international caps. He had won five international tournament silver medals with the team, and had won the European Championships Golden Boot three times. He was also part of the British team which finished fifth at the 2008 Summer Paralympics.[2][3]
