John Richards (Royal Marines officer)

Lieutenant-General Sir John Richards, KCB KCVO, was Her Majesty's Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps in the Royal Household of the Sovereign of the United Kingdom from 1982 to 1991.

He had been a senior officer of the Royal Marines, and its Commandant-General 1977 to 1981.
