Human Genetics Commission

The Human Genetics Commission is a Non-Departmental Public Body body that advises the UK government on the ethical and social aspects of genetics. This includes genetic testing, cloning and other aspects of molecular medicine.
The commission is chaired by Sir John Sulston (acting), and includes medical doctors, a broadcaster, a disability rights adovocate, several philosophers, a lawyer, social and biological scientists, industrialists and others.
