Ray Suen is an American violinist, guitarist, and keyboardist, currently working as a touring member of the Las Vegas rock band, The Killers [cite web|accessdate=2008-05-09|url=http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20080727/news_1c27raym.html|title=Opportunity Rocks|publisher="San Diego Union Tribune"|date=2007-27-07] .

He is a former touring member of the rock band, Louis XIV, and has appeared and recorded with numerous Southern California artists including Jason Mraz, Matt Curreri & the Exfriends, Joanie Mendenhall, and Gregory Page among others [cite web|accessdate=2008-05-09|url=http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20070920/news_lz1w20god.html|title=Ray Suen impresses Louis XIV as quick study|publisher="San Diego Union Tribune"|date=2007-27-07] . Suen was also featured in 2007 as an occasional member of the Joe Firstman house band on Last Call with Carson Daly.

Raised in San Diego, California and classically trained, Suen began playing violin at the age of three. He began playing the guitar at fifteen after hearing the music of thrash metal bands Testament and Metallica. While earning his psychology degree from the University of California, San Diego, Suen became interested in other applications of the violin outside of classical music after being exposed to the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.
