Burmese British is a term that refers to citizens or non citizen immigrants of the United Kindom whos ethnic origins lie fully or partially in the Asian nation of Burma (officially the Union of Myanmar). According to the 2001 UK Census, 9,924 Burmese-born people were residing in the UK.
