Ocean Colour Scene "Live At The Town Hall" is a 2008 live music DVD released by the Birmingham band Ocean Colour Scene via their own record label Moseley Shoals Records which comprised a recording of the bands appearance at the Town Hall in Birmingham on the 17th of April 2008 during the band's April 2008 Acoustic tour of the UK and Ireland [http://www.oceancolourscene.com/gigography/eighteen] The DVD features a career spanning collection of songs including album tracks, Single A sides and B-sides together with new as yet unrecorded material, with the band focussing on material they either rarely play live, or have not done so before.The sound recording was mixed by producer John Rivers and Yaron Levy at Woodbine Studios in Leamington Spa Warwickshire and the finished DVD has a total running time of 91 minutes with additional extra features comprising rehearsal and behind the scenes footage of the band [http://oceancolourscene.com/discography/dvd] .The DVD cover artwork comprises a painting of Birmingham Town Hall by artist David Barrow [http://www.oceancolourscene.com/news_story/298] The first 500 copies ordered via the bands official website came with the signatues of all five band members- Simon Fowler, Steve Cradock, Oscar Harrison, Dan Sealey and Andy Bennett in the centre pages of the DVD booklet.
