Wolle Chekol (1941-2005) was an Ethiopian statesman. He was born in Gojam,
Ethiopia . He completed elementary and secondary education in Gojam and earned his BA degree in economics fromHaile Selassie I University ,Addis Ababa with distinction. He later earned an MA in Economics from thr Center for Development Economics,Massachusetts ,United States .Government positions held
