Minnesota State Highway 312 was a short freeway in Minnesota, which ran from its interchange with Minnesota Highway 5 / U.S. Highway 212 in Eden Prairie (at Interstate Highway 494) and continued west to its western terminus at an interchange with Minnesota Highway 41 in Chaska.

Notes

The section of Highway 312 between Dell Road in Eden Prairie and State Highway 41 in Chaska opened on December 7, 2007.

Highway 312 was a temporary designation (route number) for what became part of the new U.S. 212 freeway alignment through Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, and Chaska. The road construction project was completed on July 14, 2008 and State Highway 312 was re-signed as U.S. Highway 212.

Highway 312 overlaped Minnesota Highway 5 for part of its length. Signs at Interstate Highway 494 exit 13B in Eden Prairie displayed the Highway 312 sign overlapping U.S. Highway 212, the future route designation.
