Camp Mac offers a Jr. Term, which is 2 weeks long and is a starter camp for children who have completed the 2nd through 5th grade. They also offer two premium 4 Week Terms that offer more advanced activities for children who have completed the 2nd through 9th grades. Camp Location

- Camp Mac is located 1,000 feet above sea level, on the shores of two lakes, inside the Talladega National Forest and just few miles from the top of Mount Cheaha.

Camp History
- Originally a CCC camp.

- Camp Mac was founded by the Superintendent of Talladega County Schools Mr. E.A. McBride in 1948 because of his conviction that not everything a child needed to know to become successful, productive adult could be taught in the classroom.

- The name Camp Mac was selected by the first group of campers in honor of Mr. McBride.
