[ [http://www.timeshifttrivia.com/meet_the_timeshift_hosts/index.html Meet the Hosts] ] Timeshift Trivia has four live episodes every Saturday morning from 1am-2am in your local time zone (exceptions are 1:30am-2:30am in Newfoundland and 2am-3am in the Central time zone).

Call for Cash

Timeshift Trivia is an interactive game show in which the viewers at home were the contestants. In order to participate, the at home viewer must either call their 1-900 number, which costs $1.99 per call, they can text into the show, which costs $2 per text, or the viewer can enter for free online on the TimeShift Trivia website. Every fifth person that enters qualifies and has their phone number entered into a pool of numbers, and through out the program, the shows producers would randomly call back one of the numbers that has been entered into the pool of numbers. The person who is lucky enough to get a call back goes on the air, and provided an answer in hopes of winning a cash prize. In the event that there are more than one regional qualifiers, they must play down to a single qualifier during the thirteenth week of the program. The contestant would is successful as a regional finalist will then play for the 2008 National Championship. In the event that there is only one person who answered all five questions correctly in the region, they are automatically the regional finalist. In the event that no one answered all five correctly in the region, the next best accumulative correctly answered questions then qualify contestants. A minimum of three correct answers is required to be considered for the competition.

Regional Semi-Finalist

The semi-final playdown will be conducted by telephone, and not featured on the television broadcast. All telephone conversations will be recorded to validate the fair and even game play. Each semi-finalist will be called independently, and will be given one minute to answer five questions. Each semi-finalist will be asked the same questions. The regional finalist will be determined by most correctly answered questions, and if there should be a tie, the winner will be the person who answered the questions in the shortest amount of time.

All qualifiers per region will play down to one regional finalist. If a region does not have a finalist, that region will not have any representation in the championship.

The championship will be conducted by telephone, which will all be recorded to ensure fair game play. Each of the championship previously recorded telephone questions and answers will be featured on the television broadcast. Each regional semi-finalist will be asked five identical questions, as the champion will have the most correct answers. If there is a tie, the person who answered the most correct questions in the shortest amount of time will win the championship, and a prize of $5000.
