Fabrice Taylor (born
1968 ) is an award-winning journalist who reports on business and investment activities for print, radio and television media.Taylor began his career at the "
Toronto Star " as an assistant editor for three years before joining "The Globe and Mail " as a business reporter. He is currently the editor of The Globe and Mail's Vox column and he writes for "Report on Business Magazine" and "Globe Investor Magazine". Taylor also writes the Prairie Trader column for "Alberta Venture " magazine.In August
2003 with the help of several anonymous backers, Taylor purchased the Ottawa edition of "Frank" from its owner and publisherMichael Bate . Taylor moved the magazine toToronto and relaunched it in late 2003, however circulation dropped considerably and the last issue was published onDecember 3 ,2004 . Taylor sold the defunct Ottawa edition of "Frank" back to Bate in2005 and it has been relaunched from Ottawa with online issues beginning onSeptember 27 and print issues in late November2005 .Taylor earned his chartered financial analyst and works as an equity analyst with a Calgary-based firm.
Taylor was born in Edmonton,
Alberta and is a graduate of theUniversity of Alberta and the journalism program atRyerson University .
