Anne Gray

Anne Gray

Dr Anne Gray, (born 23 December 1961 in Australia) is an orthopedic surgeon and competitive climber.

Gray started climbing in 1985; in her early climbing years she was more interested in "big walls" and cave exploration and has since done both 1000m deep caves and 1000m high big walls. In 1991 she moved to Switzerland and started to focus on hard climbing and competitions. She was on the Swiss national team from 1993 to 1996, and twice was third overall in Switzerland. She was one of the first women to boulder V9 (7C) in 1997.

Since 1997 she has focused mainly on bouldering and trekking.
