The 2008–09 OHL season is the 29th season of the
Ontario Hockey League . Twenty teams will play 68 games each during the regular season schedule, which started on September 17th, 2008 and concludes on March 15th, 2009.The playoffs will begin on March 18th, 2009, with the final team winning the
J. Ross Robertson Cup , and a berth in the2009 Memorial Cup which will be held inRimouski, Quebec .Team changes

Windsor Spitfires will move fromWindsor Arena to theWFCU Centre , which is expected to open in December 2008.Current Standings
