The Very Rev Robert William Grimley MA(Oxon), HonDLitt(UWE) [ [http://info.uwe.ac.uk/news/uwenews/article.asp?item=558 UWE citation] ] is the current Dean of Bristol [Crockford's Clerical Directory2008/2009 Lambeth, Church House Publishing ISBN 9780715110300] . He was born on 26 September 1943 [Who's Who2008: London, A & C Black ISBN 9780713672576] and eduated at Derby School and Wadham College, Oxford. Ordained in 1969 his first posts were as a Curate at "St John, Radlett" [ [http://www.radlettchurches.org.uk/ Radlett Churches WEb-Site] ] and then "St Mary and St Anne, Moseley" [ [http://www.stmarysmoseley.co.uk/ Church Web-Site] ] , after which he was Vicar of St George’s Edgbaston ["St George's Church Edgbaston" 1838 - 1998 Harkness,J.C/Pinkess,J.R.H: Birmingham St George's Edgbaston PCC, July 1998] until his appointment to the Deanery.
