Paul Y. Hoskisson

Paul Y. Hoskisson is the associate dean of religious education and an associate professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University. He holds a degree in Assyriology from Brandeis University.

Hoskisson was the editor of the book "Historicity and the Latter-day Saints" (Provo: Religious Studies Center of Brigham Young University, 2001). He wrote the article in that book about the needs for historicity.

Hoskinson has been a professor at BYU since 1981. Before that he taught at the University of Zurich and the University of Tubingen. He holds a bachelors and masters from BYU. Hoskinsson has served as a member of the board of trustees for American Schools of Oriental Research.
