Nashua, New Hampshire Ecumenical Peace Council to protest United States involvement in theVietnam War .Avco Plowshares
Morse was instrumental in establishing the
Avco Plowshares , a splinter group of thePlowshares Movement . The group was set up to targetAvco Corporation , a military contractor and subsidiary ofTextron . The group entered the Avco Systems Division inWilmington, Massachusetts and hammered manufacturing equipment and poured blood on documents titled "MX Peacekeeper". She served two weeks in jail.
