Steven Ellis (baseball)

Steven Michael Ellis (born February 4, 1979, in Utica, N.Y.) [ [http://www.thecompletepitcher.com/about.htm About Steven Ellis] ] is a former right-handed pitcher in the Chicago Cubs organization. Ellis was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 12th round (360th overall) of the 2000 MLB Draft (June-Reg) but did not sign. In the minor leagues, Ellis compiled 120 strikeouts in 88 innings of work as a closing pitcher.
