John Perkins Ralls, Sr. (January 1, 1812 – November 22, 1904) was a physician and representative from the state of
Alabama to theCongress of the Confederate States during theAmerican Civil War .Ralls was born in
Greensboro, Georgia , on New Years Day, 1812. He attended medical school and established a practice inGadsden, Alabama . He was married twice, the second time to Agnes Mary Hamilton.
