Anderson Hernandez (born September 2, 1988), better known by his stage name Vinylz, is an American record producer and Song Writer.

Biography

Personal life

Vinylz is half Dominican and half Venezuelan. He lived in Washington Heights, in New York City, where he first encountered the hip-hop world. Both his parents are Catholic. In 2003, he was signed to Ruff Ryders as an in-house producer, later on teamed up with The Individualz under Full Surface Records.

Career

Involved with the Ruff Ryders label, he began to produce tracks at the age of 15. He sold his first beat at 15 which became Drag-on's hit street single Mac 11's. He started working with Ruff Ryders, Roc-A-Fella Records, Epic Records, Def Jam Recordings, and Bad Boy Entertainment and his career is building by the year. But it wasn't until his first big single Bank, that he started to get notices for his production style and interesting ideas. He released two singles "Wrist Game" and "Look At Em" ( Cassidy's Fourth Album)Vinylz has his own production team called "Beat Gorillaz" which was helped developed by Cassidy and is currently working on albums by Cassidy, Jay-Z, Cory Gunz, Drag-On, Papoose, Karina Pasian, Solange Knowles, Ruff Ryders, Beyonce Knowles, Swizz Beatz, Eve, Bow Wow and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. He is also set to be releasing new compilation album in 2009 with various mainstream artist and underground artist he's worked with under Universal I.M.B] which is confirmed to be titled N/A
