Homer Earle Dowdy (1922 – 2002) was an author of several non-fiction books describing the tribulation of Christians in various cultures.
Birth, Education, and Military Service
Homer Earle Dowdy was born July 16, 1922, in Flint, Michigan. He was a 1940 graduate of Flint Public High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College in Illinois in 1947.
During World War II, he served in the Army in the Pacific Theatre from 1943 to 1946.
