Angereb River

The Angereb also known as the "Bahr as-Salam" is a river of Ethiopia and eastern Sudan and one of the sources of the Nile.

It rises in at a height of 6,000 to 10,000 feet above sea level, north of Lake Tana near Gonder, in Ethiopia. The Angereb Dam spans the river, built in 1986 for water supply purposes.
