Song Tao

Song Tao

Song Tao (Chinese: 宋涛; November 6, 1965 - ) is a former Chinese basketball player.

Song competed at 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, and was the Flag bearer of Chinese Olympic Team. He retired from Chinese national team in 1991, and became a coach and player in Shandong provincial team. Song went to study in San Francisco in 1993. Later he went to Taiwan and played in the professional league there. Song returned to mainland China in 2003, and has lived in Suzhou, doing business. His wife, Peng Ping, is also a famed basketball player.
