El Monte Flores

El Monte Flores is a criminal street gang located in El Monte, California, Lying in the San Gabriel Valley. They are closely affiliated with Surenos.

Controversy

El Monte Flores,or EMF as most locals like to call it, is well known for its numerous amounts of shootings and street fights. The gang is also known as being unorganized due to the fact that many non-gang members claim the gang because of affiliated family members, and also for the large number of young women who claim the gang.

Cliques

The main clique in EMF is the Tiny Midgets clique, which is where the members got the name EMFxTMS. They are also identified by staying mostly in part on Klingerman St, and Zamora Park.

Members

The racial make up of El Monte Flores consists of mainly Mexican American males or other Latino males. There are a small number of white non-hispanic males that are documented member but this rare. As of the early 1990s there are no new female members. There is not a documented list of number of members however several sources indicated that El Monte Flores is one of the biggest if not the biggest gang in the San Gabriel Valley. El Monte Police Department runs active campaigns to try to slow down the criminal activity committed by the gang.
