Biography

Firelake is a Ukrainian metal band composed of 4 members, all originated from Kiev. The band was created in 1997. [ [http://www.firelake.in.ua/en/news.html Firelake web site] ]

Exposed to the "swedish wave" when they were young, they have been influenced by bands like At The Gates, In Flames, Dark Tranquility.

After some internal arguing, and difficulties to be produced, the band finally managed to find its own style, as melodic Death Metal. [ [http://www.myspace.com/flameocean Firelake Myspace] ] They composed several of the titles present on the soundtrack of the game (Dirge For The Planet, Fighting Unknown, Against The Ionized Odds) and . Those songs can be heard in game, playing on the radios scattered across the different maps.
