Knowsthorpe

Knowsthorpe or Knostrop is an area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, on the River Aire. The spelling "Knostrop" is predominantly used for the large water treatment works in the area. Atkinson Grimshaw painted "Knostrop Cut, Leeds, Sunday Night, 1893".
