PSICOM Publishing, Inc. History
Nosebleed Magazine [http://nosebleed.multiply.com] was initially conceptualized around the early part of 2008. After current Editor-in-Chief Tom Aquitania and Managing Editor
Alexie Cruz joined PSICOM Publishing, Inc. the ideas soon started flowing. There were meetings regarding the name of the magazine. They settled on "Nosebleed" since it was a catchy punchline on most jokes which were rampant that time.Soon, they approached several people to help create the magazine. Coming on board to assist were stand-up comedian and comic artist Stanley Chi [http://www.stanleychi.com] , who will write a regular column called "Kwentong Chopsticks", fellow comic artist Julius Villanueva, bestselling author Jay Panti [http://www.jaypanti.blogspot.com] and popular blogger Klitorika [http://www.klitorika.blogspot.com] .
In July 2008, several comic artists agreed to contribute to Nosebleed as well. These were Lyndon Gregorio of "
Beerkada " fame, Ariel Atienza, Jonas Diego and Bien del Rosario. Around this time also, the editors approached the Thomasian Writers Guild to provide content for their "Organ. Of the Month" section, which showcases different school organizations. The magazine also enlisted the services of the man behind the famous blog "Kuwentong Barbero" to be its featured blog of the month. The maiden issue's cover was graced by popular radio and television personality
