Born in
Bath ,England , Jackson’s family relocated to Australia just after her 3rd birthday. She began acting in stage productions with her community and school theatre groups at the age of 5 and performed in around 20 plays over the following 10 years.At age 17 (1999), Jackson moved from
Logan City, Queensland to Surfers Paradise, to pursue a film career, working as a tour guide atWarner Brothers Studios for three years while training for film and TV, and auditioning for roles.Her first role came in the year 2000 – one line in the feature film "Scooby Doo" at age 19, followed closely by a small part in the US telemovie "Border Patrol".
When she was 21, she relocated to
Sydney , and after 18 months she moved toHollywood in June 2004.Since receiving her USA Greencard in February of 2006, Jackson has performed supporting and leading roles in over 15 feature length films. Her US television debut occurred in April 2008 in an episode of the CBS crime drama "Criminal Minds".
