May 18 , 1972) works as senior coordinator for Marketing, Events and Media Relations for the Office of Programs and External Relations,International House at theUniversity of Chicago . Prior to joining the University of Chicago, Ogeto worked atColumbia College Chicago for six years as an adviser and coordinator for non-immigrant students through the Office of International Student Affairs.Since relocating from
Kenya in 1994, Ogeto has been a staunch promoter of small-to-medium businesses that trade between the United States and East Africa with emphasis on responsible tourism (ecotourism). Also, he holds an associate diploma in tour guiding, tourism management and administration from Kenya Utalii College (Nairobi, Kenya).
