Kong Xiu (? – 200) is a fictional character in the 14th-century historical novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" by Luo Guanzhong. He served the powerful warlord Cao Cao as the warden of the Dongling Pass (東岭關, south of present day Dengfeng, Henan). He was slain by Guan Yu for forcibly preventing the latter from passing through.

Death in Guan Yu's hands

In Chapter 27, Guan Yu concluded his short service under Cao Cao and bade farewell to the latter to reunite with his former lord and sworn brother Liu Bei. However, in his hurry Guan Yu had failed to obtain an official document from Cao Cao. As he approached the Dongling Pass he was challenged by Kong Xiu. Riding forth, Guan Yu slew the pass warden within a bout.
