Commander Jürgen Oesten (born on 24 October 1913 in Berlin Grunewald) was a "Korvettenkapitän" with the Kriegsmarine during World War II. He sailed with the U 61, U 106 and U 861, sinking eighteen ships on thirteen patrols, for a total of 100.007 tons of Allied shipping.
