The "Small Purple-barred" "(Phytometra viridaria)" is a species of moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in Europe.

The wingspan is 19-20 mm. The length of the forewings is 9-11 mm. The moth flies from April to August depending on the location.

The larvae feed on Common Milkwort, Polygala serpyllifolia and Pedicularis sylvatica.
