SVIET Stands for Swami Vivekanand institute of engineering & technology situated at ramnagar jhansla,banur,Rajpura in india affiliated to PTU(Punjab technicle university,jalandhar) run by Shri Raghunath rai charitable trust and is part of SVGOI(which means Swami Vivekanand groups of institute).

The trust is managed by a Governing Body headed by Shri Ashwani Garg, Chairman of the Trust, a well known educationist. The Group is administered by a strong team of professionals headed by Shri Manmohan Kumar Garg, C.E.O. a Chartered Accountant by Profession with rich experiencein meticulously establishing and marvelously administering educational institutions.

Dr C.S. Rao who had served earlier Punjab Engineering College (Deemed University), Chandigarh for 30 years as Professor is well known educationist with vast experience in teaching, Research and Consultancy activities of Engneering Institutions.Dr. C.S. Rao is a Fellow of Insitution of Engineers (India) and Senior member IEEE (USA).

Prof. I.K. Kataria the current Director SVIET has contributed Immensely towards the growth of SVGOI as Dean Colleges and has around 40 years of teaching experience .

Dr Mrs Verinder Kaur the current principal SVIET is a well known educationist and a person with administrative skills to take care of dedicated , talented and hard working staff and students.

SVGOI entered initially in the field of Engineering and subsequently added the disciplines such as Management, Pharmacy, Education, Hotel Management, Mass Communication and Paramedical Sciences thus adding feather after feather to its Cap.svgOI is taking initiatives to establish itself as a top group of institutions with further emphasis on research and academic collaboration with overseas institutions.

SVCP has Dr Sanjay Bajaj a very Experienced person as its Principal.

Dr. P.P Arya who served Panjab University Business School,Chandigarh as Proffessor & having 40 years of teaching experience in Panjab University with 20 years at U.B.S. is the current Director of SVSM. He has written/edited 14 books & published 50 Research Papers in National & International Journals in the field of management. He remained member of Panjab University, Chandigarh senate for 10 years & remain member of syndicate for 3 years.Under the able leadership of Prof. P.P. Arya SVSM has been given sanction by AICTE New Delhi to start PGDM an exclusive course in Management equal to MBA in this Region.
