Electronic music persona ofSlovenia n-Canadian performance artist Simon Pribac.As a long time resident and art director of Slovenia's most famed club
Ambasada Gavioli , MC FLASHER has been the developer of new wave techno MC-ing and the creator of Ambasada's ideological structure in years 1998 to 2005. He has also been seen as the man, who reinvented the way of vocalizing the Techno music inCentral European Electronic music scene of the late 1990-s.History
Flasher began performing as the front man in progressive
punk rock band Pudding Fields in 1993 and as an actor in various theatres inSlovenia andNorthern Italy .He received his first voice/speech training at the national Slovenian
radio andtelevision broadcasting company (RTV Slovenia). Later he produced and hosted a number of alternative music radio shows on different Slovenian radio stations.In 1998 he began to develop the project of
techno /house vocal animation under supervision ofAmbasada Gavioli as producer andValentino Kanzyani as the art director, which proved to be one of the most defined and sophisticated projects of its kind in the electronic music scene at the time. As atechno MC he created a fusion of different approaches, techniques and skills he developed through histheatre ,music ,radio andtelevision work and later took charge of Ambasada Gavioli's art direction and outreach sector.Performance Techniques
His understanding of vocal performance is based on stories and themes. Flasher deconstructs the elements and meanings of the theme and assembles them into a greater vocal
super-structure that is projected into the music-ambiance-public during the event. His techno style is described as "atmospheric flashing of mind" and the vocalizing is producing a "sound picture", which ultimately affects the receiver's state of mind.Some of his performance works have also included elements of

Ambasada Gavioli , one of his most important public appearances included performances at Cocoon’s Morph to Extreme series in Amnesia,Ibiza (Spain) in cooperation with Sven Vaeth.He is the organizer and the artistic director of annual Music and Art festival “THE
FINAL FLASH ”, which takes place in the Seaside region ofSlovenia , introducing new approaches insound ,performing arts andfashion while showcasing emerging world’s electronic music talent. A number of international artists from over 15 different countries on 5 continents have contributed their works to this international project.Other Projects
Flasher’s other projects include international SYLD (Support Your Local DJ) series in Slovenia, United Kingdom and South Africa, performance art projects collaboration with artists such as
Istvan Kantor , DJ Psiho, Dahlia Steinberg, Aviva Zimmerman, Noel Cillavak,Valentino Kanzyani , F Sonik as well as variousfilm and media projects, such as main role in the feature action drama Exit, planned to be launched in 2008.International Resonance
The projects innitiated and developed by MC Flasher attracted attention of institutions such as the Israeli Ministry of Culture, Sport and Education, York University in Toronto, Canada, MTV Networks Europe, which led to collaboration of the Final Flash team on various international conferences and a global video animation contest in collaboration with MTV.Significance of such result
