Vyzhnytsia ( _ua. Вижниця, German: Wischnitza or Wiznitz, Romanian: Vijniţa, _ru. Вижница, translit. "Vizhnitsia", _yi. וויזשניץ "Vizhnitz") is a town located on the Cheremosh River in the Chernivtsi Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. It is the administrative center of the Vyzhnytsky Raion (district).
