"The Silent World of Nicholas Quinn" is a crime novel by Colin Dexter, the third novel in Inspector Morse series.
ynopsis
Morse finds himself drawn into an infuriatingly labyrinthine case when he's presented with the apparently motiveless killing of Nicholas Quinn, a deaf but nevertheless gifted academic recently appointed the newest member of the Oxford Examinations Syndicate. Murdered in his own North Oxford home, Quinn provides quite a puzzle for the Inspector as he tracks his killer through a hive of back-stabbers in the city colleges.
