Jonesboro Municipal Airport Airport codes|JBR|KJBR|JBR is a public airport located three statute miles (5 km) east of the central business district of Jonesboro, a city in Craighead County, Arkansas, United States. The airport is owned by the City of Jonesboro. It is mostly used for general aviation but is also served by Mesa Airlines, although as reported by the AP [Mesa Plans to Drop Ark Service [http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080123/ar_air_service_notice.html?.v=1] ] Mesa intends to drop service to this airport. Service is subsidized by the Essential Air Service program.

Jonesboro Municipal Airport covers an area of convert|1000|acre|km2 which contains two asphalt paved runways: 5/23 measuring 6,200 x 150 ft (1,890 x 46 m) and 13/31: 4,099 x 150 ft (1,249 x 46 m).
