Kent Peninsula

The Kent Peninsula is a large peninsula in Nunavut's northern Canadian Arctic. From a narrow isthmus, it extends convert|105|mi|km into the Coronation Gulf. It is south of Dease Strait and northwest of Queen Maud Gulf. The peninsula is convert|7|mi|km–convert|29|mi|km wide. Historically, the Umingmuktogmiut Copper Inuit had a permanent community at Umingmuktog on the peninsula's western coast.
