Mario Alberto Leon (born August 30, 1968, Tulancingo Hidalgo, Mexico) is a Mexican journalist and television executive. He is in charge of international news for Channel 40. He holds a
licentiate in journalism.Career
Mario Alberto Leon has a degree in journalism from the
Universidad de Periodismo en Radio y TV (PART) Graduate Studies in Law in media and new technologies.He specialized in writing with literary writer Rafael Solana, journalistic writing in Monterrey Technological and also in advertising across the Iberoamerican University because of his interest in radio communication.
He began his career in local AM stations in Hidalgo. Posteriormente trabajó como locutor comercial durante varios años hasta ser voz institucional del sistema permanente de noticias ECO. Later he worked as a commercial announcer for several years until he became the institutional voice of ECO news. He was coordinator of spaces to enter the Entertainment department Special Reports, which coordinates the program "Profundizando" ("Deepening").
He was sent to the United States and Chile as a foreign correspondent. Intelligence analysts of the former Soviet Union and former Yugoslavia as major sources, in 2001 covered Televisa News for the attacks of September 11 in the United States, and subsequently the war in Afghanistan. A year later he joined as a reporter for the News special "In contrast" with Adela Micha and Leonardo Kourchenko and "The Crystal they look" Víctor Trujillo.
In 2006 he assumed the leadership of international information in Project 40.He currently leads "El león no es como lo pintan" ("The lion is not like the painting") section in which a particular sense of information, gives an account of world events in First Edition.
