James Scott (born 14 January 1979) in Newcastle Upon Tyne) is an English actor.

His first major work in the United States was on the soap opera "All My Children". Scott originated the role of Ethan Cambias in August 2004 and played it until February 2006. He has since moved on to "Days of our Lives" where he originated the role of EJ Wells in May 2006.

Scott began his career working in the music industry, and later started acting in community theatre. Shortly after this, he made the move to London. While there, he studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).

As time went on, he began to model for clothing companies. During a modeling trip to Los Angeles, he went to an acting class at the Ivana Chubbuck studio in Hollywood. The class inspired him to save money and make the move to Los Angeles. He studied acting for two more years before being cast on "All My Children".

Scott is also credited as the camel from the Dasani Water advertisements.

He has a tall stature at 6'4".

Scott has won an epic battle against the infectious disease of Malaria. He was in danger of losing his job and the character of EJ Wells recast when the producers found out he was afflicted and close to death. He's been to Africa and wishes to educate the world through humanitarian purposes about the importance of ten dollar mosquito netting. Scott's blog about his ordeal has yet to be posted.

Ironically James Scott does not possess a television or a computer. All Scott requires are books.
