Jamal Idris Is Half Aboriginal And Nigerian His Mother works as a social worker.Played for a local basketball competition with FCC basketball team. Idris currently attends Lasalle Catholic College. He is also a great athlete and broke his school's high jump record (the record was 1.80 metres) with a jump of 1.90 metres. He had a choice of playing in the olympics but chose rugby league as his life. He has represented Australian Schoolboys rugby league team and is ranked in the top 10 in the world for javelin in his age group.Jamal also attended Great Lakes College in Forster-Tuncurry where he played for the Forster-Tuncurry Hawkes and attended Great Lake College from 2004 until 2006.
