Luke De Vere (born November 5, 1989 in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian football (soccer) player who currently plays for ALeague QR. Luke was educated at Brisbane Grammar School where he graduated in 2006. He began his football career at the prestigous soccer school of Brisbane Grammar under former Socceroo Mark Brusasco. After being given the role of prefect and soccer captain in 2006 Luke De Vere wished to take his football further. Under Alex Croot, Luke began a heavy weights program to improve his strength on the ball and in the air. After graduating Luke was accepted to the AIS and played for the U/20 Socceroos.
