Prof. Behrooz Gatmiri is professor at university of Tehran in Iran and at Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in France.His formation is

2004 : Diplôme d'Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) from ISTL, Lille " Contribution à la Modélisation geo-poro-dynamique et Thermo-hydro-mécanique" 1989 : Ph.D. from "Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées", Paris, with « mention très honorable » , (Theoretical and numerical study of sea bed response to wave action).

1985 : Master of Science of "sols-structures mechanics" from "Ecole Centrale de Paris".

1980 :Civil Engineering diploma from university of Tehran, IRAN (Master of Science).

He is published many articles in the international journals.
