Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah ( _ar. جابر مبارك الحمد الصباح) (born 1948) is a government minister of Kuwait, currently holding the appointed as First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Minister of Defence, since February 2006. He had earlier served as Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, then Minister of Information, and was later chosen as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense on 14 February 2001.
As Defence Minister he supported U.S. President George W. Bush leading up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, saying Saddam Hussein could not be trusted.
