Salt Creek is an intermittent stream flowing into the Salton Sea at Salt Creek Beach on the northern shore, and is an important habitat of desert pupfish, containing a population of 159 fish [http://wfrc.usgs.gov/research/aquatic%20ecology/STSaiki6.htm] . It is in Riverside County, California [http://www.cvmshcp.org/sp_43.htm] .
